Appointment Reservation & Cancellation Policy

To reserve an appointment, a valid credit or debit card is required and securely maintained on file. By scheduling an appointment with Alankara, whether online, by phone, by text, or in person, you acknowledge that appointment times are reserved exclusively for you and agree to the terms of this Appointment Reservation & Cancellation Policy.

By booking an appointment, you expressly authorize Alankara Salon to charge the card on file for applicable cancellation fees, no-show fees, late arrival fees, unpaid balances, and forfeited deposits in accordance with this policy.

 

Cancellation & Rescheduling Notice
We require a minimum of forty-eight (48) hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule any appointment. Notice must be received no later than 48 hours prior to the scheduled appointment start time.

Cancellations or rescheduling requests made with less than 48 hours’ notice will result in a cancellation fee equal to fifty percent (50%) of the scheduled service total.

No-Show Policy
Clients who fail to attend a scheduled appointment without providing notice (“no-show”) will be charged one hundred percent (100%) of the scheduled service total.
Appointments abandoned after 15 minutes without communication may be treated as a no-show at the sole discretion of Alankara.

Late Arrival Policy
Clients arriving more than 15 minutes late may be required to shorten or reschedule their appointment in order to avoid disruption to other scheduled clients. In such cases, a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the scheduled service total may apply.

Deposits for Extended or Specialty Services
Certain services, including but not limited to color corrections, hair extensions, bridal services, smoothing treatments, and appointments exceeding 1.5 hours or $150 in value, may require a non-refundable booking deposit.
Deposits will be applied toward the final service total at the time of the appointment. If the appointment is canceled, rescheduled, or missed in violation of this policy, the deposit will be forfeited.

Accepted Methods of Cancellation
Appointment cancellations or rescheduling requests must be made by calling the salon directly and cancelling with a team member. Social media messages, direct messages, emails, or other informal or indirect communications are not considered valid notice unless expressly confirmed by Alankara.

Appointment Reminders
Courtesy appointment reminders may be sent by text message, email, or phone; however, failure to receive a reminder does not waive or modify this policy. Clients remain solely responsible for managing and attending their scheduled appointments.
 
Charge Authorization & Collection Rights
You authorize Alankara to process charges to the card on file for all fees authorized under this policy without additional notice. If a charge is disputed or declined, Alankara reserves the right to refuse future bookings until the outstanding balance is resolved.

By booking an appointment, you acknowledge and agree that late cancellations, no-shows, and abandoned appointments result in substantial business losses, including lost stylist time and inability to accommodate other clients, and that the fees described herein represent a fair and reasonable estimate of damages incurred by Alankara as a result.

Policy Acceptance
By scheduling or attending an appointment with Alankara, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Appointment Reservation & Cancellation Policy.


We gladly accept cash and all major credit cards. We do not accept checks.
Gratuities must be paid directly to service provider in the form of cash, check, venmo, or zelle.
